Converting A Saber/Astro Transportable Base Station

Post by tbertele »

I recently purchased a transportable base station marked for "Saber/Astro." It is the suitcase Convertacom and I think the Model No. may be P2061. It looks to be perfect. Is there any simple way I convert it to work with an XTS3000? If I buy an XTS cradle will it be an easy switch out?

What radios do you own?: XTL, XTS, Saber, Spectra, MTS2

The DB25 will not be plug and play. But I think it will work OK transposing the proper pins on the amplified speaker, etc.

I have one same situation that is on the "whenever I get to it" pile.
