JT1000

Post by W2MB »

After pushing the monitor button (side button 3) five times the display indicates the firmware version (R03.02) then displays TEST MODE. Is there any other info available in the test mode?

Test Mode

Post by d119 »

Test mode is a basic service mode that allows you to do the following:

1. Verify operation of all display segments
2. Verify operation of all knobs, switches and buttons
3. Verify operation of the PL, DPL, DTMF, etc. encoders
4. Verify operation of the transmitter & receiver on preset test frequencies
5. Other service options (verify deviation, etc. which requires a service monitor).

Any other questions?

You need publication 68P81200C40-O. This will step you through the test and alignment. It is for the HT1000, MT2000, MTS2000, and MTX series.

The JT1000 is based upon the HT1000.

Without the book, the test button pushes, and beeps, and what each means is not possible to list and/or remember.
