Post by Andy2712 »

I created a MOL account, signed the software license agreements, but can't find where I can order software from. Can anyone give me a hand?

MOL

You can accomplish a few different ways.

1. Use the search catalog and enter the software part #. It should pull up the software with the option of purchasing it.

2. Use the browse catalog feature. Click on the two way radio section and then select the radio. Look under the last catagory. It should be listed if you have the ability to purchase it.

3. Call Motorola directly and place the order via the telephone (Sometimes the quickest/only way). I wanted to purchase the system saber software, but it did not show up in MOL at all. But when I called Motorola, they were more than happy to take my money.

No doubt, and does it work with a fast(er) computer? I can't seem to get the version that I have to run on anything faster than a 25MHz machine. Even my 100MHz with 16MB of RAM fails me with this rss. The rss will run, but errors out when the radio is read.

Thanks!

System Saber RSS

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I better call MOL directly, since I have tried looking for it in the catalog a few different ways.

How recently has anyone purchased it?

Thanks.
