Inside the famous XTS5000 Program Cable

Post by Monty »

HI:

This is just for some general information

Here is what is inside the XTS5000 Program
Cable. More details as time permits.

Sorry r0f, I had to nuke the other post since
it may have offeneded another party who is
making a similar clone.

But for those who wish to build your own ....

Image

No details on the componets as of this time, but the
Circuit is pretty simple.

A Note:

XTS2500 / XTS5000's MUST have the Ribless Cables.

The RKN4035D ( as in the 08/03 Parts Book ) IS NOT
compatable with the XTS5000 ( Period )

But is compatable with the XTS3500

Major design differencies between the 2 cables...

Hi Monty,

I can easily reverse engineer the complete schematics of the circuit but I need to know how the backplane of the PCB board looks like. The wiring is also important. Can you tell me what the different color coding of the cable.

I have a XTS5000 i can test in on.

You can PM with the PIX and I will publish the complete shematics here ASAP.
