I tried to fix a couple of small bugs on my HT1000 and decided to screw with the Service Alignment settings (BIG MISTAKE).
The radio is now screwed up.
Does anyone have the ability/equipment to get the setting back to where they should be?

Let me know and how much....

Thanks;
Chris

You should be able to find a dealer in your area that should do it for you... would cost about $40ish. You could send it to someone on the board, but after shipping, you'll prob pay the same as taking it to your local shop.

There's one local to me where I know someone who will do work for HAM's for free, when he gets around to it.

Good luck!

Hi:

I have been a Motorola Portable Tech
since 1972, and I am licensed, Bonded
and can provide the proper service on your HT.

I may be a little higher than most, but
I do have the proper Service Platform to restore your radio.

With respects to " Price " it could be simple, it could be serious, so I like
to warn you in adavnce.

If you wish, Please email me the " Exact "
discription as to what caused the failure
and if the radio ever worked properly.

If it should come from " EBAY " I have seen
a increase of dead ( As-Is ) radios comming
in...That might be a problem

Also , with me, I really only Address a radio
back to Factory Spec....I shy away from Mods,
changes, upgrades unless there are some very
special circumstances.

Anyhow, most general cases, you may be looking @ 65.00 on the low end to 125.00
on the high side.

Depot Price: Well, forget it, its over 300.00

I would send it to Monty, [email protected] for good work! at fair prices! Next time someone goes in the service area. Print out or write down EVERYTHING! (I don't think there is a f5 Print key for JT'/Ht's) But there is for most Sabers. Ed

Hi:

For those who need it, and so long
as its " Active " Hold down the Control
Key, and find " Print Screen" on your Keyboard....

Thank you for considering MTS for your
maintance.

I just tried that. A key I always forget. "Print Screen"! Mine worked with holding down the Shift Key + Print Screen, (maybe it depends on the pc) but thanks for the tip! Monty! it worked! ....Ed
