How many channels can you scan with a saber model 3 vhf?
I was just wondering if you can only scan the 12 in the bank or can you scan more across more than one bank.

Saber scanning...
If you activate the scan from the scan screen the radio will scan the zone you're currently set for.
You can also set up various scanlists, accessible from the scanlist screen, and then you can scan a number of channels in different zones. There is also an edit function which is controllable from the front of the radio.
Suggest you get hold of a Saber programming manual which has all of the "secrets" of programming these radios.

Re: Saber Scanning
HI!
Using a Model II VHF with Model III low-power wide-band split codeplug.
CORE 5D XH43QXJ7139CN
Having difficulties understanding programming scan lists.
What are the capabilities and steps to achieve either zone or mode scans.
Does anyone have a Model II codeplug I could use?
Please forgive me as I am new to the world of Sabers.
Thank you
