Whats the HIGHEST LEVEL of Encryption out there available to the Military that is commerical and will fit in side an XTS Series radio.

I believe that would be AES...256-bits strong.

XTS5000

The XTS5000 is available with Type 1 encryption for the federal govt. That is VINSON family of encryption that the military uses in SINCGARS & other tactical radios. AES & the DES types are Type 3, which is lower. Also the XTL2500 & other ASTRO portables can get a lower type of encryption (I think it is called ADP) which is ASTRO mode only & is called scanner beater.
