CDM1550 Repeater?

Post by seoems096 »

Is there a way to hook up a repeater system to my CDM1550? If so, what would I need to buy?

Thanks in advance!! =)

Hey Andy,

Its Nick...

Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do?

Are you trying to set up a repeater base station?

Or are you trying to setup a vehicular repeater like what we have in the squads?

Thanks,

Nick

Will, I gotta tell ya, I wouldn't buy a repeater controller from a site that spells it 'Repeter' in several spots. I've been waiting to see if it would get fixed.

Nice to see you are up on your toes, but we do not have or make any "repeater controllers".

Fine, 'Repeter Modules'...or whatever you wish to call it.

good call Todd..the guy has got to be not too serious about selling these things if he dosent have the attention to detail to check his spelling or at least have someone who isn't learning disabled check his spelling. Remember if he dosent have the kind of attention to detail to represent the face of his business perfectly, then he can't have the attention to detail to build a great product. I might be a little harsh, but if you want half a chance in the competitive business world, you have to have an airtight image.

Maybe this is just my opinion,

but if I go to Will for help, its gonna be for the products he has,

not how he spells words. I would rather buy a product from

someone like him with an actual GOOD background, even if he has

1 or 2 words spelled wrong on his website. It sure beats buying a

POS unit from someone who has the coolest webpage with all his

words spelled correctly.

All this is pretty immature...

I think Will's repeater modules are probably one of the better built devices from members of this board. Lots of people here have them and love them.

I've found that my father's spelling has completely gone to crap, but that doesn't stop him from being able to apply his 30 years in the communications field. Online, it is a way to seperate the men from the boys, so to speak. (Or the hams from the serious communication professionals ;-)

I didn't mean to imply Will's products were in any way not top notch. I can't have an opinion on them, as I've never seen/used one. I should have used PM's to point out the spelling error, my mistake. With that, this is closed.
