hi
I have a dead saber3 non secure, I know its the CPU on the main PCB,when you turn on the radio the LED comes On dimm, I am Unable to source a saber pcb to replce the old one,
is it possible to replace the cpu from a secure saber to my non secure saber,
or is it easer to get a 2nd hand 5d cpu from some one,
I know you need the Irfa RED thing to remove the CPU's. Can any one out there help me.
or Give me a price on a cpu and installation or a price on a complet saber non secure pcb.
Ive been trying to buy a saber 1 clear off ebay, to replace the PCB off it but there either not working or in excellent condition and expensive.
What would be the best option, Iv almost lost hope with this radio but Im still hanging in there coz I would say its one of the best radios I ever had.
Thanks for having a look

If all else fails, contact me. I have a brand new, mint condition secure Saber main PC board. I've put some modules on it, since I intended to build it up, and never finished, but I haven't installed all the modules since I don't have them all. Even the little silicone plugs in some module holes are unpierced.
This is a UHF board. Is your radio VHF or UHF?
