2003 Crown Vic PI is supposed to have grille lights and speaker wiring as a standard feature. Does anyone know where these wires terminate in the front and inside? Install guide says they are taped in the IP harness on the right side, but I don't see them and don't want to pull the whole harness apart looking. Thanks.

Wiring
Just like the 2004. the 2003 CV do vary. Also sometimes you think it's standard...but it isn't. You need to look on your order ticket and find out exactly what options were ordered. Here is a web site that has the 2003/2004 CV install diagrams. Hopefully it'll point you in the right direction.

The grille/speaker wiring is NOT standard. It has to be spec'd.
Besides....you can run your own just as fast (or faster) than soldering and shrinktubing into most OEM equipped harnesses. Ever try an Impala?
Hey GM!! If you clowns are reading this, how about actually routing the grille and speaker leads into the grille area next time you "design" a wiring package. If not, give of the damn plug/harness to extend it there. If we order the option, at least make it work for us and not make us order a 2nd part!
Also, get with the program on your rear power feeds. Dump the cheesey dual #10s and run a single #4 into the trunk like Ford and Dodge. One #4 under the dash would be nice instead of the 50 amp and dual 30 amp relayed feeds.

Wiring
I do have to admit that Ford has greatly improved the wiring options in thier CVs. I finished installs on the 2004 with the wiring options...There are more wires for all the goodies and then some! I have tons left over, that I have no clue what I'd ever use them for.
GM....Impalas are another story. I too agree they could have better designed the wiring harness.

Wiring harness
Dodge Intrepid has a grill harness that is less than ideal. 2 1/2 inches of slack at the very top of the drivers left foot on the inside - about 4 inches behind the grill - but you can't get to it. Love the CV - lots of slack to work with on both ends.
