RF Power out adjustment on MCX1000? Where and how?

RF Power out adjustment on MCX1000? Where and how?

Looking for somebody who knows how to adjust the RF output power of a Motorola MCX1000 VHF mobile.

I have a Canadian model at 30W and want to see if it'll go up to 40W like the US models did.

On one side of the radio is a green circuit board.On this board is a pot that is labelled pwr adj.Tune for maximum smoke er power output.Paul
