Help with install on Audi A4

Post by Jay G. »

Ok, so one of the kids in my dept gets his birthday present - brand new audi A4. And guess what he wants to add.......Stobes, Headlight flashers, etc.... Anyone have any experience? How easy/hard. Positive/negative switched headlights?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Headlight flashers. I assume this vehicle has xenon headlights...My recommendation is to do not f*ck with these!

The taillight assembly should allow for hideaway strobes. I would recommend an LED package for most Euro cars in general... (maybe slimlighters or 911 ep for a more covert look?)

As far as I remember, Audi's got crap when it comes to grille space, so a speaker may be tough to do or may need to be mounted somewhere low or in wheel well.

I am going to be scoping out a similar car for a potential install in the next few weeks...I'll let you know if I can come up with some more specifics.

What do you mean don't F*&6 with the HID's ? By all means strip back those thin wires and put in a Code 3 or better yet, Tomar flasher and see what happens. HEHEHEHEHEHHE

** 28,000 ** Volts Dc can make that small flasher GLOW !

Tomar would not replace the flasher after one Local security Joke
** Black Taped ** in one of the two head flashers and brought in the car / disaster with the MELTED headlight bucket which they sent two screws through so as to mount the flasher.

What set this in uncontrolled laughter, was the ABC powder all over the drivers side of the car where laner brainer hosed down the fire caused by the GLOWING flasher.

Before my days of a digital camera.

If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.
