Motorola 16 Pin Connector

Post by Daniel Watson »

I have an M120 that is a perfectly good working radio except somewhere along the line the 16 pin connector is missing. The logic board looks fine its just that there is no 16 pin connector and Pins 15 & 16 are jumpered to make the internal speaker work. To install a 16 pin connector would require me to remove the logic board. If I remove and re-install the logic board is that going to cause starting up the radio again problems??? It appears that there was a connector on the board at one time. Thank you

Provided the radio is in good shape and you do nice work, there should be no problems removing the boards and replacing them after installing a new connector.
