Correct port for programming an Astro Consolette?

Post by Pj »

Which is the proper programming port on the rear... 1 or 2?

This has the TRC option, but its working as a standalone unit if it make a difference..

I think you still have to open the case and prgram the radio directly.

At least that' show my consolette is - the ports on the rear are for the DGT9000 family of digital remotes or tone control.

I thought I read on here some time ago that you could use one of the rear ports for programming. Tried both, didn't work and ended up cracking open the case. No big deal.

PJ, did you see the programming tip for AS Consolettes here: http://www.batlabs.com/astconscbl.html? It says port 3, which if I recall correctly, is the top DB25? It's been a while since I programmed from the rear port but it does work perfectly.

Yeah, tried both....no go. Could it have anything to do with the TRC option enabled in the radio?
