The updates for 9.03.00 DOS (the only way!!!) version....

ASTRO PORTABLES AND ASTRO MOBILES:
- Direct/Talkaround fields (Frequency, PL, Network ID) in
Conventional Personality screen will now remain visible if:
- Direct/Talkaround is enabled, and
- Receive Frequency is equal to Transmit Frequency, and
- Receive PL is equal to Transmit PL, or
- Receive Network ID is equal to Transmit Network ID.
- Latest bootcode is included which supports the DSP Atmel
Flash chip, AT49.
- Help text for Adaptive Power, Auto Power Adaption, and
Tx Power Level fields modified to clarify the use of the
Adaptive Power feature.

Latest Bootcode? Sounds restriciting to me....

Just my 2 cents, but I have have been using Dos MRSS for quite a few years, and have only used the CPS for Pro Series Radios and most recently the AStro Spectra and Saber series radios, and I found that with Windows2000 & the Astro CPS I have NEVER had a problem. I have however had MANY crashes with Windows ME.

I use Win2k for the Astro Laptop, and Win95 for the Pro series laptop, and most other RSS I run on a old laptop with a mono screen 386SE which is slightly slow, but NEVER had a problem with any of them..
