Post tone Question

Post by Larry »

If I set my radios to TX a post tone, will the audiable beep tone be heard at the begining of each transmission?

I like the feature of the pre-tone beep to alert the radio user they are TX'ing and that voice communication is clear to start after the beep...

No, If you did post-tone, you have no need for the beep.

If you want the tone at the beginning of your transmission, you have to select "PRE" sidetone in your MDC options.
