IMPRES battery and chargers

Hello. Motorola Claims that Impres Batteries and Chargers optimize battery pack life and entend operation time. A lot of consumers complain about the high price of this technology and that it stops third vendor competition. It will be of extreme interest to me to have any one's input regarding this. If you have any articles that describe this technology in detail or have some specification sheets or any info about IMPRES batteries and chargers, please email it to me at [email protected]. The single unit chargers seem cheap enough, and last I looked, it didn't look like those batts were out of wack either
