Console for 97 Suburban ..

Post by RVC Truckie »

I was curious if anyone knows of a pre made console custom fit for a 1997 Surburban 1500 with bucket seats. I looked at havis shield and can't seem to find one on their website. Any help would be appreciated .. Thanx John

If you have buscket seats, most any console will fit. Unless you are looking for no holes mount. Most of the consoles you can bolt to the floor with no problem.

Gamber Johnson is in my 1500 Suburban. Fits the C/K line. This pic is distorted due to being so close, however it looks nicer than it does here. Jaymz and Alex have seen it. There is a laptop installed as well.

I have other pics, but its not on my server...but this one is:

PJ....Is that a GE radio you've down at the bottom of the picture...what kind is it? Our EMS units use them, and I've been trying to check them out as to specs and all of that... I'm not terribly familiar with GE's any info would be great...

This is the "systems" head for the Orion radio. The new Jaguar's use the same head I believe. The standard head is known as the "scan" head and has only 4 buttons + the scan button. The system's head allows for dual radio operation, siren, status/message etc.

Sorta like a A5 to A7. Top line is the zone, bottom for the channel name (for those that don't know).

I had to bend some metal back for it to fit, but I it works!
