programming scan list

Post by rondawwg »

ok now I know how to program a list from the keypad. Heres the question. Are their 2 lists or one?how to get from one to the other? What is the story when it stops on one ch and during the transmission suddenly jumps to another ch? Is this the sequence which I programmed them in by, or is it whichever ch is lower on the list or in the memory or what?I would also like to find someone local in the san fernando cal. area who has programming capability and would be willing to help meout ,as my guy is waaaaay out in o.c. any help greatly appreciated. thnxz

1.) What radio are your refering to? An ASTRO something, I hope?

2.) Scan lists are either zone slaved or radio wide. If you have a 16 zone radio, you can have 1 list for each zone or one list for the entire radio. The radio can also have a slaved list that you program in the RSS and it is not user selectable.
