Post by toyradios »

Does anyone know if the XTS radio is capable of encoding MDC1200 and displaying the unit id's ?

Thanks

The XTS will encode MDC1200 with the standard conv package. To decode MDC and display the ID on the screen you will need the MDC decode ID flash option.

Bill,

To decode MDC, you need (H14) Digital ID Display option.

and how do you turn this on? when i set up MDC on my xts3k like it is on my MTS2000, to display ID's, it mutes my RX audio on each personality that has mdc turned on on the xts.

Its under one of the radiowide menu's, under the display options screen. If you have this option, the RSS will have it available.

What's the flashcode of your radio?
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
