Will my AS-3 display MDC ID #'s?

Yes. Unless they're using MDC Preamble you'll see it after the TX.

Another thing to consider is the flashcode; you will have to have the h14 (digital id display) option. Double check the flash on your radio and make sure, that is the first place to start.

if you have the right flash, then go into the RSS and go to Radio wide option then to Display, then I think its under PTT ID, make sure options are turn on, somtimes its not on, and it wont show.

Also, make sure the channel u want to decode MDC, make suure in that personality of that channel that MDC is pick for signalling. and that should do the trick if I remember, its been awhile since I program, and its late right now, ughh...... just thought i throw a quick answer in

Make sure you don't enable MDC OR MODAT on the react frequency. The Crusties might get upset with you.
