Anyone have info on the potential problem with an XTS-3000 MIII 450-512, Radio turns on and off when scan is turned on. Operates normally in trunked and conventional when not scanning. Any ideas?

SCAN MODE TURN OFF
Hello. I bought a 403-470 XTS 3K from Nick that did the exact same thing. If you enabled scan the radio would turn off, then on again. If I didn't turn on scan it was perfect. Nick replaced it with a new radio so I never figured out what the problem was. The replacement radio was 7.12.00 & 8.02.06,so the defective radio was the version before that. Of course this was when Nick was still reliable. He even sent the replacement radio back overnight Saturday delivery & programmed it like the 1st radio.
