Hi Chad!

Any idea what flashcode options you need in the codeplug? I mean, you have a digital spectra, but didn't indicate whether you need DIGITAL enabled in the codeplug. You could quite possibly end up with a useless codeplug if someone sent you one with ASTRO Ready instead of IMBE.

Do you require trunking? What types of trunking? H36, H37, H38? Omnilink? ASTRO25?

These key details will yield you much more useful results, and could save you a LOT of time sorting through/writing codeplugs which could be absolutey useless to you.

What are you looking to do? Does the radio not read...or...? Some info in what is going on with your radio or what you are looking to do with it would help.

And how the hell did you manage to do that?? Sounds like somebody was playing with Lab and did a boo-boo.

Good luck

lets see, astro specta - astro saber

spectra - saber
saber - spectra
spectra spectra spectra - saber saber saber
saber saber saber - spectra spectra spectra

um. they both start with s.

r0f/f0r should add a section to his AS primer about that. It should probably be called "why people shouldn't mess with RSS" . The person that did that should be beaten with the brick they made. hahaha
god. i'm gonna go force a codeplug from our CDM1550s into the copier with a putty knife. - they both start with "c", it should work right? and then i can decode MDC while stapling!

Sounds like someone I know who used MTSX lab to force an MCS2000 codeplug into an MTS2000. Figured it'd work cause it was only one letter off...
thebigphish wrote:"why people shouldn't mess with RSS"
Maybe that's why Motorola isn't as tight with RSS as it could be, cause they make hundreds of dollars off of people who brick their stuff!
