SAME receiver use

Anyone have a SAME receiver in the PSAP or Dispatch Area? I picked up a used EAS decoder & was wondering if it was a good idea to have it automatically re-transmit certain messages , say to the security & support people.

BTW, Info about the SAME decoder I have is at http://www.gorman-redlich.com/eas1_decoder.htm From what I understand, I will need a new EPROM burned by the manufacturer.

SAME Rx in PSAP

Yes, we have an ENDEC in our PSAP. We are the NOAA broadcaster for our county and the Sage box passes NOAA as program audio. We monitor NOAA and the State's Upload network as well as do our own uploads. Our broadcasters monitor NOAA and therfore get all 3 alerting options through us (NOAA, State, and our PSAP).
