Counting PTT's w/Gold Elite

Post by 5-sides »

Is there a way to pull system PTT numbers using Gold Elite? I have activity log set for 100, but now I need more info on total system activity.

I don't think there is anything internal to the program that will do this. You would think for what it costs, something simple like an exportable log would be included... but no.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

I played around on the server for a while, and it seemed like I should be able to log up to 20Meg in a file. After a while longer, when I still couldn't pull data from the CIE's to the server, I sampled a couple 100 message periods, averaged the times, and extrapolated. Data was just so someone could justify their existence I'm sure.

Thanks to nmfire10 for the support, and everyone else who checked and let the wisdom stand. It is pretty pricey after all.

If you look in this link, there's a procedure to capture all MDC ID's using a CEB upload cable & hyperterminal, ready for export to your program of choice:
