Manuals are only available on MOL if your account has been blessed for them. Kinda like stickers, cell phone parts, etc etc.

MOL is pretty strange - no two accounts seem to have the same access.

Also, finding things can be a chore.

Start at the main toolbar on the home page.

Click on "Resource Center"

Then you get a box at the left of your screen.

Expand "+ Product Information"

Then expand "+ Manuals"

Then "+ Two Way Mobile"

Then "Astro Digital Spectra"

You should get a whole page of manual part numbers. The detailed service manual is split into four file sections that total 23 megs

It must be a access issue. I'm able to get to several manuals including the Astro XTL5000 but I don't see Astro Digital Spectra.

Copy the url for it from your browser and send it to me. I'm curious to see if it will give me access to it when I'm logged in although it won't let me see it on the menu.

Thanks for the help!

You probably will be able to access if you get a direct URL. This was discussed a few months ago. Someone posted a link for a firmware upgrade, and Alex immediately yanked it because he deemed it was a security risk for Motorola. That said, I wouldn't post the link in public. Try it via PM or email.

If your MOL account is blessed as an MSS, you should have access to manuals and firmware downloads. If you're listed as a reseller, you won't. A vast majority of the accounts out there are reseller accounts. If you have a reseller account and someone gives you a link for a manual or firmware download, it's probably with good reason.
