AMP/Molex plugs

Post by Larry »

Does anybody know of an online source for ordering the plastic AMP plugs used for the speaker connectors?

I find these plugs very useful in many projects and have a hard time finding them at local electronics distributors.

Hi:

Without spending the rest of your life hunting
for the cheapest distributor, you probably would
be better off just ordering them from Motorola.

Many distributors have " Minimum " order requirements,
and unless you want to buy 100.00-200.00 worth of them,
it would not be to feasable.

Not to say you can't find them, but distributors and
products they carry change with the weather.

In todays world, they just want you to buy " cheap"
throw away items.

Check Mouser Electronics. They don't have any minimums and usually are cheaper than Motorola.

Does anyone know the AMP or Motorola P/N for the connectors used on the Spectra speakers? Are these available thru Radio Shack (I haven't seen them in their catalog)?
