XTS5000 UHF I.F. Frequency question

Post by mike m »

Anyone know what the I.F. Frequencies are for the XTS5000 range 1 and range 2 UHF radios ? I have a svc manual but all it documents are the VHF and 700/800 radios.

You need the Detailed Service Manual: 6881094C31.

The UHF first IF is 73.35 MHz.

The final IF is 2.25 MHz.

XMO,

Thanks, I have the detailed service manuals, 6881094C31-A and 68P1094C31-O, both were purchased last year but they only list the 700/800 and VHF radios. Maybe they were trying to move the old manuals out.

The manual I got last week is version "-D" so maybe it would be a good time to order yourself a new one. It's too bad they don't have a way to put you on a 'subscription' for manuals like they do for RSS/CPS.

Yeah really considering we buy between 75 and 100 XTS3000 and 5000's a month you'd think they would keep us informed of updates on everything.
