Astro Motorcycle W4 to W3 HHCH??

Post by 10-95 »

Can a motorcycle Astro Spectra be configured to use a W3 HHCH??
Will I need to change the front interconnect board on the radio unit??

Thanks,

yes and yes

w3's use a different i-conn than any other astro spectra - they are unique

Thanks, that's what I thought. Anybody have the part number for the interconnect board I'll need to run a W3 HHCH on a 15 watt motorcycle radio?? Will the interconnect on a regular A3 spectra work on the W3 setup??

hln6459 is what you need (W3 interconnect)

also - you will need a new front plastic bezel with two db-25 ports on it...

that's part #

3880064P01 and 1580062P06
