xts5000 radio

Post by JDmhz »

Hi does anyone have legit xts5k with tags and what does the serial number starts with for a xts5k UHF bandsplit?
Is it the same as the 326xxxxxxx for the 3k?

Thanks a lot!!

The first three digits of Motorola serial numbers are a product code known as APC and are different for every product.

Even two items from the same line may have different APC's. 326 is the APC for XTS3000 radio with H37 or H38 trunking feature sets flashed at time of manufacture. An XTS3000 that was sold with H35 conventional has an APC of 620.

Corresponding APC's for the XTS5000 are 721 and 320.

I have about 50 here right now in all flavors and bands and they are 320 for the VHF and both UHF range 5000's and 721 for the 700/800 radios.
