I'd be happy to help.....

Point you where you need to go:

First, start by visiting your local motorola dealer. If you don't know who that is, give Motorola a call, 1-800-422-4210, and they would be happy to help you out with your upgrades.

You say you 'need' to have these radios upgraded. That implies that they will be used on a Smartzone system. Without exception, Smartzone systems are big systems - there WILL be a System Administrator of the system. Your best bet is to contact that person or entity for assistance. They will undoubtedly have a Motorola Direct sales contact that can process the upgrade order.

The typical price difference between the Smartnet feature set and the Smartzone feature set runs about $300 so look for each flash to be that much or a little more. You really need to be working with the system administrator in case you need other features such as Omnilink.

On the off chance that you are intending to try to use these radios as listen only devices or in any other manner unknown to the System Administrator - forget it and buy a scanner.
