XTS5000 MDC

I have an 123ABC XTS5000 with the conventional IMBE flash and when I open up the CPS I can program MDC systems and assign them to a channel.

However, when I keyup it wont transmit. That must be because its not supported by the flash but then why does it appear as an option in the software?

It's not a flash issue - it's a firmware issue.

Is this a firmware bug? R02.00.00 is a pretty early version. Or is it simply a feature not supported with this revision?

MDC was not supported on firmware that old.
