MSF5K UHF Base station multi-freq

Post by Equinox »

I have got my hands on an MSF-5000, UHF 40 watt base station #C44CXB-7106B. Curious as to how hard it would be to convert it to a repeater?

Nothing to it.

Remove the antenna relay and re-cable rx and tx to connectors on the side of the station, add an external duplexer, program accordingly.

Alternatively, you could look for the Motrola internal duplex filter and cable set parts on ebay.
