OK, after searching here and on Mot Online I've got numerous #'s for Astro Saber s/w. I read rOf's Astro tutorial, but it only speaks of 4181. Judging from that I think I have my answer, but want to be sure. I don't want the Astro Saber and Astro Spectra combo value meal, I'm just looking for the Astro Saber only rss. Is it RVN4181P or RVN4182P? Per Mot Online:
RVN4181P:
R05.00.00 ASTRO 25 PORTABLE CPS
RVN4182P:
R04.01.04 ASTRO SABER/XTS3000
I'm guessing the 4182P.... correctamundo? What's the diff?Thanks.

"Do you get a programming manual, like for the older RSS, with the Astro Saber/XTS3000 CPS?"

Nobody gives you a manual with anything anymore.
Buy a new computer - you get a 'documentation' CD.
Buy a new camera - you get a documentation CD.
etc, etc.
Since the CPS is already on a disk they don't give you a separate documentation disk, all you get is a computerized CPS tutorial and online help.
Help? Ha - sort of. I'd rather have a real book.

Actually, I did get a manual with my new printer/fax machine.
I concur though, mostly online or the good old F1 for help is what we get these days, and that's not enough sometimes. I've had programs where the damn help file must've been written by a 2nd grader. You need a help file to understand the help file!
