Removing Ford Taurus rear deck

Post by fd2119 »

Can anyone suggest a good way to remove (and reinstall) the rear deck of a Ford Taurus for some TIR3s? The only way I've found thus far is to run wires (rather unsightly).

Thanks for any and all help!

Remove the rear lower cushion by pushing it back with your knee then pull up.

Remove the rear upper seat by folding down the seat backs and remove four bolts.

You will know be able to get to the rear deck. You might have to loosen up the trim around the rear quater windows to get it out.
