What / where is the best place in the firewall to run my red B+ for my X9000? also whats the feeling on here of using a glass mount might just go ahead and drill hole in roof!

Sorry , I forgot to mention it is a 05 Silverado ext cab Z71 I want to install a vhf Spectra and or a uhf X 9000 or a Maratrac. i had an ad a while back so I that it would come back but I guess not.
