Okay, Just bought an IMPRES charger and i am wondering which chemistry/mAh battery everyone agree's is the best all around for talktime and longevity.

Happy Memorial Day!

Heavy though they may be, I usually carry the 3500mAh NIMH packs for long runtime.

If I want little, I go with the thin lithium-ion packs. They have roughly the same capacity as the standard NiCd packs. Since you have the right charger to charge LiIons, why would you want a bigger battery with equal capacity?

I looked on MOL and didnt see any IMPRES batterier that were more than 2000mAh.

I currently carry a Nicad rugged and yes its heavy, but i like the way it fits in my hand.

I work a 12hour shift and right now i have to change or charge the battery about 8hours into my shift. I need one that will last at least 14 or 16 hours and have a fairly long life.

Of course with IMPRES, the charger should take care of my longevity concerns.

The reason i am asking this is because i plan on oredering a Brand new battery so i am sure that it hasnt been in a conventional, non-IMPRES charger. That way i get my moneys worth.

No, they don't make IMPRES NiMH packs. I use the standard non-IMPRES packs.
