Modem over the air for remote dial up of quantar???

Post by FMROB »

Okay, I know I am a pain in the ass with all these questions??

But, Here is another one.

I find the remote dial up feature of the quantar for programming. My question is can I do this using an RF link, like two maxtracs, yagis, and modems????

Is there a relable way to TX data without a phone line.

Thanks, Rob

cell phone. zetron's interconnects can pass data, but expect only about 9600 bps tops.

Rob,
Take a look at http://www.airlink.com . They make several products that can do what you want. AT&T/Cingular & Verizon both support this technology.
