Astro-tac receivers

Post by Dover IT »

We are currently setting up some receiver sites for our astro system and I was wondering, is there any way to listen to the received audio at the receiver sites to see how it is receiving..??

Hi,

There should be a modular speaker jack right next tot he DB-9.. chek the manual for the pinout. Not a lot of power, but very audible..

You can NOT listen to recovered IMBE at an ASTRO receiver, as the receiver has no CODEC in it. You'll need to run it down to a DIU 3000 (via a VG 3002 PL) and listen to the recovered audio at that point. You can listen to legacy analog FM at the receiver, of course.
