I was just curious of any forum members rates for installing police equipment. I think the average here is $40-$50 hour. any others are welcome to answer my personal labor poll. :D

Vehicle work $60 to $65 CDN
Bench tech work $70 CDN
System work (repaeters/dispatch) $75-80 CDN

$90 hr for in shop and $100 hr for field

60/hr shop 120/hr field

This comes with the explaination that we do not charge for technicians "shooting the $hit" .........

$40.00 an hour with a service charge for field work. Service charge is dependant upon distance from shop to job.

Well in our shop - $ 75.00 bench and installs, $120 out of shop rate.

$75.00 per hour unless I go over the bridge for installs your location or mine. The Government gets almost half of the money and gas ain't cheap.
