MVA Power Amp Question

On the VHF power amps that go with the MVA's, I know the listed range is 150-170... Would there be much of a problem to use it in the 144-148 ham range? I would like to use one w/ my MT1000, but it wouldn't be to good if I couldn't use it in all the bands I need...
