Astro Spectra Station Model Designator

Anyone have the Astro Station model number scheme that can identify the first letter, "L" , in the model number. I'm guessing local control?

"L" is given to the Consolette built radio's as built..

D-Dashmount
T-Trunkmount
M-Motorcycle
L-Consolette
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
