GP900-99 display question

Hi!

I need help with GP900-99 . I programed some frequencies into the radio and gave a name tag to channels. Now the diplay is changeing between names and channel numbers. When I go through channels 1 to 20 it shows names next time around shows channel number and then again names.
Any idea?

this is caused by the swap display function , i think it, s in the alpha tag menu
i have done this myself just to see what it did!

Enable 'Inhibit Selection' in the 'Channel Definitions' menu, that way only the 'Channel Alias' will be displayed..
Also in the 'Channel Alias definitions' make sure that 'Alternate Display' is disabled otherwise it will alternate between the channel number and the alias..
