Question about XTS5000 Firmware

Post by ILuvXMRadio »

I'm thinking of purchasing an XTS5k with the following:

I couldn't find where this seems correct/current, but could someone help me by advising me about the current firmware for a model 2 XTS5k?

H18KEF9PW6AN
HOST Version: R02.20.02
DSP Version: R02.20.00
Flashcode:100001-00000-7

Any fears/issues with this combination? Just curious. Any info about above would be great.

Thanks.

can you say after me boys and girls?

1 - 2 - 3 A - B - C

they're good for you and me!

(sorry had to)

your radios have very old host/dsp....about 4 years to be exact.

current host/dsp is 6.00

your radios will work fine for conventional IMBE comms.

MDC will not work.

Scan will sorta work.

Don't ever plan on getting the radios serviced or worked on by M.

search here on batlabs for 123ABC and you can read all about it.

Ok.. I would hate to have 2 radios like that. I'll hold off buying the model 2 I guess.

Thanks Doug.
