I am trying to set up an Astro Consollette with Four RCH3000 desk sets using a CDN6683 junction box. I can't seem to get it to work, I hook the radio up using the db25 cable, I can hook one desk set up to one of the G ports on the juntion box and it will monitor and transmit, but no other functions work then when I hook up the second and third no units work. It I try hooking just one up to a H port it won't work at all. The RCH3000s are set for Astro.
Any suggestions, is this common?

Have you set the jumpers inside the junction box for Astro Spectra configuration? They might be set for MCS2000. Just a thought. The "H" ports all require a straight through RJ45 Cat5 cable to work, the "G" requires a full crossover cable (mirrored).

I sort of got it working but seems kind of crazy.
I noticed that the spectra led is on so I think that is correct.
What I had to do was have the db25 cable hooked to one junction box, then go from that junction box from one of the G ports into one of the H ports of another junction box. I could then hook my desk sets into that and I get the transmit, recieve, volume up and down, mode up and down functions to all work. However, all other functions don't work.
