still looking for Radio serial # date checker

still looking for Radio serial # date checker

Hi thanks for the information but that isn't the website I was looking for,The website i am looking for is that you would type in your serial code in and it would tell you the month, day and year of manufacture. If I remember correctly you would only have to type in the first 5 digits and it told you. If someone knows of this website please let me know,thanks again. Troy

/\/\ used to run a database for trunked radios years ago, could tell you when they were built and active / cutoff / stolen if on one of their systems. Nextel actually had it after they bought out /\/\'s 800 stuff but I think they abandoned it soon after they started turning off analog.
