Can you clone a vhf model II codeplug into a model III in cps? Thanks.

You can't clone directly, but you can 'drag & drop' all of the info from one to another in a matter of seconds. This is assuming you have a legit system key if you need to drag & drop trunking info. The "help" tutorials explain it fully with video clips & the whole 9 yards...but you basically just need to start up the CPS twice...size the windows so they each take up approx 1/2 the screen & set them side by side...open your 'master' codeplug in one CPS, open your 'target' codeplug in the other...now proceed to click & drag over your info from the master to the target. You can't drag over the 'grey' lines, only the 'green' lines you see after you double-click the 'grey' lines. Newer CPS such as 5.00.00 & 6.00.00 don't have green & gray lines anymore, but use icons to differentiate things.

If the radio only has conventional modes programmed then you do not need a system key.
