XTL 2500 Test Mode

Just received my first batch of XTL 2500's. Do they have a front panel accessible test mode like the MCS did? Haven't been able to get a service manual yet.

Also, while the CPS talks to the radio just fine, the Tuner software won't? Using the right com port, HKN6183 cable (alone, without RIB, etc) it's Ver 4.01.00 tuner software from the same CD as the CPS.

...Well, figgered out my Tuning software problem. Won't work without the accessory connector attached.

Would still like to know if there's a front panel accessible test mode though. Have an 05 Control Head.

Yes, the XTL 2500 can be put in the test mode with 5 quick presses of the home button right after power up. Dunno why it didn't do it when I tried it before. Ah well. Thanks for the help! *g*
