GM300 16 pin configuration change

Post by ag4an »

I was told that you can the Pin out configuration using the programing interface on an GM 300. I'm having problems getting a COR output for a CAT 300DXL and the CAT owner tell me that this can be done. If anyone has a clue tell me where?

Thanks

If it's a 16 channel GM300, you can program the accessory pins to do many different functions under the 'radio wide'-->'other accessory' section of the RSS. I'd recommend setting pin 8 for 'pl/dpl & csq detect'...you can choose either high or low for the active output state, whatever the controller needs.

If it's an 8 channel unit, then it's not programmable, but it should by default output an active low on pin 8 when proper carrier detect is received.

Are you sure it's a 16 channel? What's the model number? It's very possible that you just overlooked the 'Other Accessory' setting. From the 'Radio Wide' screen, press 'F9' to get to the 'Other Accessory' screen.

Well then, it must be an 8 channel unit...and as I said before:
