desktrac and command plus

Post by fubb26 »

merry christmas to all!

ok simple question i have a UHF desktrac base.i set the jumpers up for 2 wire audio. the desktra is connected to a comand plus( set up for 2 wire tone remote). transmit is fine. receive is nothing. i have to open the squelch up(hold in the monitor button) to get anything on the console. is there another jumper on the remote board for the out put adjust or a pot somewhere that i am not seeing? in the desktrac RSS in the tone remote settings there is an adjust ment for receive audio path should i set it for flat audio or filtered audio? or is the remote board in the desktrac shot?

any help would be greatly appreciated..

It almost sounds like the radio is programmed for a different
tone squelch than the signal your trying to receive. On the
other hand I may be interpeting your statement wrong.

You won't hear anything on the console untill the receiver
hears a transmitted signal. If the receiver is programmed
for carrier squelch, then you should hear any signal on the
receive channel.

no its not a tone squelch issue. i has no audio output from the desk trac receive side to the console. on the radio(desktrac speaker) itself the audio is loud and clear
